Dear Christiane--
We had a great time in Dubrovnik and enjoyed Sanya's tour, the boat ride, the lovely lunch at Cavtat, and of course our time with Ivan (--with whom my 9 year old was particularly captivated!).  Thanks so much for all your help in coordinating what was really a wonderful day.

Christiane,

We just returned from Europe and I wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for all of the excellent service in Kotor and Dubrovnik.  My family and I had a great time.  Stefan, in Kotor, was a terrific guide.  He was personable, informative and really showed us a nice time.  Branca, in Dubrovnik was also a great guide.  She is a wealth of knowledge.  We also really enjoyed meeting Ivan.  We spent a lot of time talking.  He is charming and helped to make our day in Dubrovnik a very enjoyable one.  As you know, there was a little bit of confusion about the itinerary, but everything worked out just fine.  In fact, I have to tell you that one of the highlights of our whole vacation for my older 2 kids was jumping off of the cliffs in Dubrovnik. They haven't stopped talking about that. (I thought it was fun too!)

Ivan told us that you spend a significant amount of time in New York. We live in South Jersey (near Atlantic City) and would love to get together if you have the opportunity some time when you are back in the states.  Keep my contact information and let us know, anytime, if you would like to do that.

Also, special thanks for getting the booster seat.  Ivan told us that you were able to borrow it for the day.  It is appreciated. Best regards, Jeff (client from website)

Christiane and Ivan, Here is just a quick excerpt from Ms. S. email today. I have you two to thank for looking after them so well and for helping me look great!

“It was well-planned and organized so there was never a need for me to be concerned in any city, at any minute, on any issues.  Our guides were the best – bright, articulate, helpful, competent – exceeded our expectations.  The itinerary was just the best – a bit of history, plenty of active fun, we hit all the highlights….with first class handling.  Each day was like a new gift to be unwrapped.”

Thank you again! J.R. (Travel Agency)

Sounds like they had a great time, thanks to you and Ivan!  J (Travel Agency)

WE LOVE CROATIA!  Wow what a trip, such a gorgeous country.  Will

Best – T.C.

Christiane - Thank you (and Ivan) for a wonderful day!  Despite the sheer number of
dogs and conditions etc.  We each thoroughly enjoyed being at the dog shelter and being able to spend time and give a bit of love to the dogs!  The pictures in our minds will not be forgotten!
The tour, lunch, and swim with Ivan was great not to mention the fascinating conversation and history lessons!
We had a delicious meal tonight - thank you for the recommendation as well as the special service and excellent table!
Thank you again for all of your assistance and attention in this wonderful country - such a treat!
Will keep in touch! Warmly – T.C.

We had a marvelous day with Ivan! I was waiting until I got home with much faster (and less expensive) internet to give you some feedback (we get home Tuesday). I would definitely recommend your company. B.S.

Hi, Christiane - I finally have a chance to give you more feedback and also send you a couple of pictures.

Our tour with Ivan was one of the highlights of our trip.  Dubrovnik was our favorite port stop (tied with Venice).  Ivan is a treasure trove of knowledge and the pre-prepared book will be a great asset when I put together our photo book (done using iPhoto on my Mac).  The old town was jam-packed with tourists that day, but we still saw a lot of things; the tour in the countryside was really fun and we enjoyed the scenic overview, the stop at the mill and the stroll through Cavtat.  Ivan took into account my problems with my knees, so that was terrific. All in all, it was definitely worth our investment to book this tour and I will recommend Dubrovnik Private Tours when I get an opportunity on the Cruise Critic board.

Here are a couple of pictures, one of Ivan taken at the old mill and another of Dubrovnik at dusk as we relaxed after our tour to have some drinks and do people-watching.  We thought this was a great photo of Ivan!  If you want to use the photos for brochures or your website, just give us a by-line credit (e.g., photo credit sSteven and Barbara Sande; Steve took the one of Ivan and I took the one of Dubrovnik at dusk).

Take care and thanks again! B.S.
