One Half Day Tour
Trsteno is a quaint village about 25 km from Dubrovnik – world famous for its Arboretum. It will delight you with its exotic vegetation and plants, such as giant plane, camphor and palm trees. At the end of the 16th century the family Gucetic built its summer residence, partly Gothic partly Renaissance style in the center of the arboretum. One of the oldest families in this area and highly learned and cultured, they cultivated these magnificent botanic gardens. In the mid 18th century a fountain in Baroque style of Neptune and the nymph was erected.
