The Elaphite Islands

One Half Day for each island Kolocep, Lopud, Sipan Kolocep: 100-year-old pine groves, gardens with orange and lemon trees – the island is one large park. Remains of pre-Romanesque buildings. Lopud: Mediterranean, subtropical vegetation with several parks and beaches. Franciscan monastery (1483) with its defense tower and walls and cloisters. Sipan: Largest of the Elaphite Islands offers quiet beaches, known for the ruins of former Dubrovnik patrician summer residences.
