Lokrum

One Half Day Tour Just 15 minutes by boat from the old Dubrovnik town harbor, Lokrum is a sub-tropical offshore nature reserve. Your guests will leave with unforgettable impressions of the old Benedictine monastery (12th century) which later became the summer residence of Archduke Maximilian. He reconstructed the monastery into a neo-gothic style and built a castle shaped as a tower. We will take you on peaceful walks in the nature reserve around the small warm salt-water lake called “The Dead Sea”. We will seek countless paths leading through a large botanical garden with many different kinds of vegetation. We will visit numerous, almost empty rock beaches and enjoy swimming in the clear water.
